Situation: A distributor had a small bank with 12 locations and was looking to penetrate the account.

TDG Solution: TDG spoke to him about the ATM product line and suggested this may be just the leverage he needed. After doing some research to identify the bank's marketing manager, TDG set a meeting to illustrate, using sample product, that the ATM receipt would be the most cost-effective means of marketing to their customer base. TDG pointed out that the solution offered two significant benefits. First, the bank could benefit from branding the receipts with custom messaging. They could also grow the customer base by offering various products as services on the ATM receipt. TDG's net take-away message to the marketing manager: There is no other means of marketing that is more cost- effective, targeted and simple as ATM receipt advertising.

Outcome: Marketing was willing to pick up the additional cost from the "generic" ATM receipts that purchasing had been buying.
